A Big Success!

Box City 2012

Over $17,000 Raised! 

We are so grateful to our Citizens and their sponsors for their hard work and generosity.  The night was absolutely beautiful, with a few hours of clear weather tucked into an otherwise rainy weekend.  Despite some chill in the air, our community was cheerful and grateful for their shelter, meager as it was.  We enjoyed pizza, popcorn, an outdoor movie, and spectacular entertainment.  The highlight of the night was a performance by the “Freebirds”, our young friends in the shelter program who sang and played original music (written by them) with Macheis Wind.  The kids were simply wonderful and we were impressed at the guts they had in performing in front of a crowd.

First of all, thanks for asking!  We appreciate your support, as do our very dedicated Box City “Citizens”.  Please click the Donate Now link at the top of this page.  You will be guided through the completion process but please note the participant or team name in the “Designation” field so that they receive credit for your donation.  If you prefer to send a check, we will gladly receive it in the Family Promise office (10 East Main Street – Flemington, NJ  08822) – please let us know who you are supporting with your contribution.  Thank you!
