Dream Dinner – March 27th, 2012 at Hunterdon Central
Hunterdon Central Regional High School will be hosting their fourth annual Dream Dinner on March 27, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the HC Commons on Junction Road in Flemington.
The Dream Dinner is being planned by a student coalition dedicated to helping residents of Hunterdon County who have low-incomes and face food and housing shortages. The coalition will work closely with Family Promise/Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN). IHN is a network dedicated to bringing the community together, to help families regain their housing, their independence, and their dignity. The event was a huge success last year and will again bring awareness to these pivotal issues and raise money to support the cause. Local businesses are donating food and other items that will help support the community based dinner. The menu will include salad, bread, pasta, dessert and drinks. All proceeds from this Dream Dinner will go to Family Promise/IHN.
Those who attend the dinner will be served an excellent meal and enjoy entertainment from some of Hunterdon Central’s finest musicians and hear from former IHN clients. The success of the Dream Dinner depends on everyone in the community.
Tickets are $8.00 for adults $5.00 for children 5-12 years old, 4 and under are free. For more information and tickets contact Jane Paradiso at jparadis@hcrhs.k12.nj.us.
